Creating a UX scorecard and benchmarking system to measure ROI in UX

The Challenge:

I found that the current UX analysis system I was using at an agency was too generalized.

It did not include a UX assessment that entailed a detailed analysis of what to improve and there was no established benchmarking system in place to see if what we designed was, in fact, effective.

The Solution:

I created a UX Scorecard with a detailed scoring of 391 items in these key areas:

  • UX website analysis + heuristic evaluation

  • SEO and SEM optimization for all website pages

  • Analysis on all key pages, Information Architecture, and mobile

  • emotional processing and persuasive design

  • UX best practices in content design, user flow

  • HEART Framework for benchmarking

  • Competitor Analysis and benchmarking
